Business League

Our Business league (AKA Thursday League) consists of various teams competing against one another. Teams consist of 4 – 5 players, each placed in order of their experience, strength and position on the Club Ladder. This allows players with the same abilities to compete against one another. 

This league is played during the Spring & Summer months on Thursday nights.

Doubles League

As the name suggests, this leagueconsists of teams of two players all mixed together on a single court.

An informal league that’s normally played on Tuesday night.

Vets/Social League

Our Vets/Social league works on a handicap system. It’s purpose is to attempt to level the playing field and to enhance the enjoyment of the game of squash and to give as many players as possible the opportunity to do so.

 

This is normally played on Monday nights.

Gauteng / External League

Participation in the Central Gauteng Squash League is well supported by the Alberton Squash Club.

Club Champions League

This league is played over the months of November and December. The purpose of this league is to identify the clubs top players and to rank all the members according to their strength and ability.

This league will be played during the months of November & December.

Winter / Racquetball League

This league is played on the same basis as the Business / Thursday night league. The only difference is that it is played during the Winter months and is replaced with Racquetball. 

This will normally run over the months

of June and July.
